Sacha Lodge is one of the best Amazon lodges in Ecuador, offering an authentic jungle adventure and outstanding service.
A motorized canoe takes you from Coca along the Río Napo, the largest river in the Ecuadorian Amazon, to the lodge. The idyllic lakeshore lodge is located about 50 miles–a 2½-hour boat ride–east of Coca. Sacha features comfortable rooms with shower/toilet and patio.
Typically, a day at Sacha Lodge starts at sunrise since the rainforest animals are most active in the cool early-morning hours. Afternoon excursions usually begin between 3 and 4 p.m. and go until dusk when the insects and frogs start their evening concert.
In addition to rainforest hikes and canoe rides, there are many other activities and attractions available.
Check out our blog article about the exciting treetop walkway and the giant river otters at Sacha Lodge.
